GOLDZONE · pro football
Five players and a defense, under a $200 budget, each one carrying a number to beat. That is the whole game. It takes about two minutes, and the 2026 season is free to play, so you can read this and then go and do it.
Step one
Your ticket has six slots: a quarterback, a running back, two wide receivers, a tight end and a team defense. Each slot takes that position and nothing else - no receiver in the quarterback slot, no quarterback in a receiver slot.
Every player carries a price, and all six of yours together must come in at or under $200. The dearest six on offer cost more than that on purpose, so the budget always makes you choose.
| Slot | Price | Target |
|---|---|---|
| QB | $52 | 18.5 |
| RB | $44 | 14.0 |
| WR | $38 | 12.5 |
| WR | $27 | 11.0 |
| TE | $21 | 9.0 |
| DEF | $17 | 7.0 |
An illustration, not this week. Real prices and real targets are on the week itself, and they are the same for everybody playing it.
Step two
That is the part that makes this its own game. You are not hoping to out-score a stranger's lineup. Each of your six has a target, and it either beats it or it does not.
Targets are set before the week begins from each player's verified performance over the previous NFL weeks, the same for the whole field. They do not change once the week opens. No opinions, and nobody's guess about what is going to happen.
The targets are also set to be about equally hard in every slot, so a tight end is no easier to clear than a quarterback. It is deliberately difficult: in testing against real past seasons, roughly one ticket in a hundred cleared all six.
Step three
A ticket only counts once you seal it, and you cannot seal one using a player whose game has already started. As each game of the week kicks off, those teams leave the pool. Everyone still to play is still available, right up to the last kickoff of the week.
A sealed ticket is permanent. No swaps, no late changes, whatever happens after you commit. That cuts both ways and it is the point: everyone's six were chosen without knowing how any of them did.
Prices creep up as the week drains, so the same player costs a little more on Sunday afternoon than he did on Wednesday. Targets never move. Seal early and you pay less for the same number to beat.
Step four
You do not choose between these. Every ticket is playing for both at once.
Place high
The more of your six clear their targets, the higher your ticket places for the week. The Purse is the week's own prize pool, and it is shared out by where you finish.
Clear all six
Clear every one of your six targets in a week and you earn a GoldTicket. It cannot be bought at any price. Earning it is the only way it exists.
There is a second, slower road to a GoldTicket too: play well week after week and the season points you build up will mint one. Steady beats lucky, eventually.
Step five
A GoldTicket is the key to the Finale - the one week at the end, on NFL Wildcard weekend, that nobody can buy their way into. You earn a GoldTicket in a regular week, and you play it in the Finale.
The Finale is where you crack the Vault. The Vault is the season-long prize, funded by the studio at a guaranteed minimum of $10,000 and never linked to how many people played or what they paid. It can be topped up. It can never go down.
GoldTickets stack: earn three and you play three tickets at the Finale. They last the season they were earned in, and they do not carry over.
The full prize structure is published in the prize schedule.
Step six
When the games are done, your six are settled against the official NFL statistics. Not our opinion of how it went, not a panel, not a market. What the players actually did.
That is what Verified Sport means, and it is why the targets have to be published before the week rather than after it.
