The Vault is awarded at the Earned-Entry Finale in NFL Wildcard week. Its prize structure is fixed in advance and does not depend on how many people enter or on any entry fees paid.
A perfection bonus of 15% of the Vault is paid first. The remaining 85% is the ranked pool, shared across three tiers by finishing position: positions 1 to 10 share 50% of the ranked pool, positions 11 to 100 share 30%, and positions 101 to 500 share 20%. Every position inside a tier is paid the same amount.
Worked examples. At a $10,000 Vault: perfection bonus $1,500.00; each position in tier one $425.00; tier two $28.33; tier three $4.25. At a $50,000 Vault: $7,500.00; $2,125.00; $141.66; $21.25. At a $100,000 Vault: $15,000.00; $4,250.00; $283.33; $42.50.
If the Finale field is smaller than 500, the unfilled tail positions are not paid out and instead seed the following season's Vault. Nothing is forfeited.
Nothing is paid on any basis other than the schedule published here.
