Playing responsibly

Responsible Play

This is the same policy the app shows. The controls it describes - deposit limits, taking a break, self-exclusion - live in the app under Settings, Playing responsibly.

Gold Tickets is meant to be fun, and staying in control is part of that. Everything below is in Settings, under Playing responsibly, and takes effect straight away unless it says otherwise.

DEPOSIT LIMITS. You can set a limit on how much you deposit per day, per week, or both. Lowering a limit applies immediately. Raising one does not: the request is scheduled, and your current lower limit stays in force until the cooling-off period has passed. That is deliberate, so a decision made in a bad moment cannot take effect in that moment.

TAKE A BREAK. You can pause your account for 24 hours, 48 hours, or 7 days. While a break is running you cannot lock a ticket. You will be asked to confirm before it starts, and once it starts it runs to the end. We will tell you when it is over.

SELF-EXCLUDE. You can turn your account off for entering contests at any time, with no end date. Self-exclusion overrides a break. To review a self-exclusion, email support@goldtickets.com.

FREE PLAY COSTS NOTHING. The weekly game is free to enter and there is no cash Purse until money play opens. You never have to spend anything to play, to earn a GoldTicket, or to enter the Finale.

WORTH WATCHING FOR. Playing longer or more often than you meant to. Thinking about it when you are meant to be doing something else. Spending money you had set aside for something else. Feeling like you need to keep going to put a bad result right. Hiding how much you play from people close to you. Any of these is a good reason to set a limit or take a break.

IF YOU NEED HELP. Free, confidential support is available 24 hours a day, for you or for someone you are worried about. The National Problem Gambling Helpline is 1-800-MY-RESET (1-800-697-3738), by call or text. The former number 1-800-522-4700 still reaches the same helpline. You can also reach us at support@goldtickets.com. We will never ask you to explain yourself to get a limit, a break, or a self-exclusion.
